Gxxgle is messing with my website

Yes... Big 3 share web spam data.

I had the same issue with one of my sites....I figured it was just the Google dance and it will pop back. I put some high PR links to it, so hopefully it will bounce back soon. Went from #3 to #250... sucks!

It's a nightmare because G. decides to fuck your site up and throw it in trash for a few months, but building backlinks and updating your site with fresh quality unique content on a daily basis will solve the sandbox problem!

OMG, same thing happened to me on the 14th of this month.. from #3 to page 33

No it's not.

Blog comments is still a very effective way to get a lot of good backlinks and traffic if done correctly.

I forgot to put this in my original answer to this, but I wanted to say that I never submit my sitemaps to Google.

I just include a link to it in the footer of my site. This way I don't have to put anything on my site from Google, but it still gets every single page crawled as soon as the spiders come.

I actually get better results this way, and it's a lot less hands off than GWT.

Dude....anyone can see what you're doing if they have the right tools. Regardless of whether or not you're verified by google webmaster tools or not. Search engines and other free scripts that are available on the net make blackhat sites VERY transparent...you just have to know what you're looking for. True, access is easier if a Google rep wanted to check out your site if you had GWT, but GWT also doesn't list all of the links you build....they list the ones that are important to the GOOGLE search engine. It also takes FOREVER to update sometimes because it's a free service. By the time all of your links show up in GWT, you would have made $1000's.

My advice: USE WEBMASTER TOOLS to submit your sitemap if you're just starting out.

Wordpress has several plugins that integrate with it as well so you don't have to copy and paste a whole bunch of code, if that's how you roll.
