Hello fellow bhw members,

For starters il excuse myself for my bad English.

I run a local company, and i've had many local clients. I acquire them by calling them cold.

What do you guys think about good niche's to call for SEO, I've been in Restaurants, electricians and tech companies.

Any idea's?

Why not do a little local keyword research about different services/professionals.
See which ones have the highest volumes of search and reach out to them with the pitch "Over x amount of people are looking for YOUR service every month".

Cool! Nothing worse than snake oil salesmen over the phone. Well man what I would do is just pay someone per conversion. That way you don't have upfront cost, but make it rewarding for the cold caller.

They will get you an initial list of pre-qualified leads. After that do a bit of research on the companies and seal the deal. =)
 
Not what i'm looking for, i need niche's/branches that need SEO services, and have the funds to do it. Any thoughts on that?
 
This is a little unorthodox and I think that's why it works, but what I like doing is putting together a quick video presentation where I walk them through their website, what can be improved and what keywords they are really missing out on. One thing I notice a lot of times are that clients have rankings that are around 9-20. If they could just boost their rankings a little they could get a ton of traffic instead of 0. Explain these things to them in a well done video and you will grab their attention :).

Make a search with Google adwords to see which niche has a fucking high CPC: people ready to spend 25-50 dollars for a click will be ready to spend money for good SEO.

In my country, I know that is the case for:
- plumber (I checked, it's insane!)
- locksmith
- electricians

Services to individuals.

Take a look too at home tutoring, home cleaning (or synonyms)

Find a targeted keyword of low competitive and high search volume and do some link buildings.
