I am not a woman, but I am going to presume that she will only see that as spying, and hate you for it... Maybe a female here could give you their opinion.
Do you not have her phone number or any other way that you can contact her? Carrier pigeon with a rose maybe? Walk to her house and put a note through her door? Anything but something she will think is spying.
