Unfortunately the tan or lack of tan starts to take over the discussion of what should rightly be as follows: one man threatened and then struck an older man. One happens to be black and the other white. The victim then fought back and defended himself. End of story.
Race does not excuse anyone's behavior. I would be just as angry if the one that started the fight was purple. It simply doesn't matter.
Call one party A and the other party B. The race is a non-sequitur.
If the one starting the fight happened to be white and other black I would still feel the same way.
Sociopath had his ass handed to him.
This is the way that it should always be.
I have been in some really rough areas in SF and other large cities and the predators are pretty much equal opportunity employers. You have to give them good eye contact, try to remove yourself from the situation (when you can) and then be prepared to defend yourself.
Anyway, I am glad that the prey became the hunter and took care of business.

dudes like him are so used to Verbally intimidating ppl, they never actually fight...so when someone actually strikes back, they are surprised and freeze up like the guy in the video.
It's funny, Society has become so non-confrontational, dudes like him have never gotten checked. So the behavior persists until he tries the wrong guy...
