gust blog how to find them?

I have a brand new blog and now am looking to drive traffic to it a few people told that i should do gust blogging first because it work great i have never done it before and i would like some help on finding the high traffic once please help

Hi,

I would first start off by collecting a list of the blogs/forums or sites in your niche (you can either do this yourself or hire a VA i.e. Virtual Assistant). Then I would visit them (or you can again get your VA to do this task as well) their blogs and see anywhere either in the contact section or if there is any "Write for us" type of link. Based on that, I would contact and try to make some relations with Webmaster of those blogs. Even if there is no "Write for us" sort of link or mentioning of the same, there is still a way - link bait. Talking about it more below.

One another way I recently discovered from a case study by a blogger was also really great and can definitely score some nice and authority links that will stick. What he did was as soon as he added sufficient articles and was decent looking, he set for the hunt to find similar sites related to his niche which maybe providing good information or resource regarding that.

Then he made a resource page on his site and added the good sites which actually provided great value to the readers of the same. And then what he did was just a simple email (using the contact form) to webmasters of those sites like "Hey, I have added a link to your this site or article on the resource page of my blog as I found it really helpful." and in return, he scored some big opportunities. Some webmasters replied back and approached him to do a guest post (notice how things worked even without mentioning the intention to guest post) or either linked back to his site. This is link baiting and you can definitely get some good links from sites related to your niche and even better - the ones which will stick!

However, one thing to remember is to develop or start a relationship (if you are serious about your niche site and see it as future potential income source or want to grow it) and when you get an opportunity to guest post - make sure it is a real quality post and not some 5-15 minutes gibberish write up. Provide an useful content and the returns would be sweet.

If you're in the niche then presumably you must know some of the big blogs already so visit them and see who they link to, likely other high traffic blogs.

You can search on Tecnhorati.com or use Google "niche + blog" or "niche" hit enter then from the top choose 'blogs' and it will bring up blogs based on your niche or keyword.

You can take it further and click on 'search tool' and change it to show posts posted inn the last 24hrs/1 weeks/month/year.

Go to "My Blog Guest". They are free, but you have to pay for more features.
Go to the forum under "find a blog" and say that you have articles that you want to publish on other blogs, I once got 4 offers in 5 minutes.

I really like that idea. The one problem I have with it is if I am making my website and working to make it an authority site with just my content, I don't want to send my visitors to another person's website. I'd rather re-direct them to my own articles and become more engaged with my visitors. I think it would be better to use social media via your website and social signals and possibly guest post by finding relevant niche blogs. But I see the benefit of creating and engaging with other bloggers. My goal is essentially to have high traffic on my own blog and not really associate with other blogs as I want it to become a money site in the long run; and would rather not link it to others.

You should actively search for other blogs in your niche and check out their "Write For Us" page if they have one.

You have to find them on your own.

But I see the benefit of creating and engaging with other bloggers. My goal is essentially to have high traffic on my own blog and not really associate with other blogs as I want it to become a money site in the long run; and would rather not link it to others.

A fast way to become an authority blog in the niche which results in your making money if done right is to link to other sites.

If you're constantly referencing / linking / sharing other sites in the niche people will do it back for you.

So not only do you become associated with the high traffic authority blogs in the niche you get links from them which results in direct and highly targeted traffic.

Authority sites link to other authority sites. They reference influential people.

This is one of the key factors to growing your blog.

You can start by looking for influential people and then determining whether they have blogs to which you could contribute. I would go to Followerwonk and do some searching. Start searching with your niche phrase and then sort the results by Social Authority. Once you've recognize some possible guest blogging targets, check if they have a blog and make sure if the blog has strong credibility, you can check the URL of the blog in Open Site Explorer for their domain authority and link profile. conduct a simple search on their blogs for [guest post].
