Gumtree posting Advice

Hi there, I have searched around the forum but could not find anything specifically for my needs.

Basically I am looking to post around 25 to 30 adverts a day on gumtree the UK version. From my testing it seems that they are restricting to UK proxies only although I have not tested extensively yet. I am using the cloakfish service but many of the adverts I have tried posting using US/German and French proxies simply did not show up on gumtree.

So my question is simple, how and what do I need to be able to post 25/30 adverts a day, after reading a bit I assume I have to buy private proxies for the ads to stick but if so how many do I need for the amount of ads per day I want to do and can anyone recommend a service that would suit my needs!

Use a UK VPN. I am from the UK and have noticed that I can post at least 50 ads per day and my ads will still appear fine, no IP ban, GT don't ghost posts either (To my knowledge).
 
Hi gimme4free I am in the UK too and your solution sounds the most elegant. I never thought of that before. I have sent you a PM too but just wondered if you could point me in the direction of a UK VPN service or perhaps you could share with me the one you use, that would be great! Thanks once again for the fast reply!
 
Hmmmm!!

I doubt if private proxy is working. I used fresh L1 proxies that could not be traced as proxy but failed to stick my post.

May be the only option is UK based VPN with private proxy that is solely dedicated to you.
 
I am in the same boat here, and am having troubles with my indian outsourcing understanding how posting to uk will require private pvn. I would really like to hear from someone who has a good solution to this issue.

the only use for the long run of using a vpn is to scan ip ranges to find proxies(from the uk is the best of course)
GT does not ghost ads,your ad is either successfully posted or not.
Try to find proxies from europe countries like germany,france,spain,italy etc'
they work good for me.

I have a software that can scan proxy range but can you provide me UK L1 proxy range that can be useful?

82.30.0.0 to 82.50.0.0 , i 've used to get many on port 9090 a few months back,not anymore....
 
I use two VPN to post on Gumtree and my ads always stick.

i suspect they are getting wise to it. i posted 47 ads yesterday over 2 ip's with 2 slightly different ad wordings and none of them appeared. Turd bags, that took me ages.
 
I just found out something. you know when you post an ad, they ask you for a post code... do you put the right post code in? as in the city you are posting? Because I used another city's post code and got an email saying I must post in the correct city, so I took the same words I had used on the denied post, posted in SAME city again, with a correct post code for that city and it accepted it.
 
yeah they do. they getting better as well with their detecting fakes.
 
Dunno, I've managed to post about 15 today that have stuck.
 
I am having related problems and have opened a new thread relating to my problem. I wonder if any of you guys could take a look and give me some insight into what I am doing wrong? The name of my thread is "Experienced Gumtree poster requires advice from the 'experts'"

What are you guys posting adverts for?

What is the value of posting on Gumtree? (N00b question I know ....)
