Their Trustpilot score is 1.4.
I am using a link shortener that shows many more visits than Gumroad analytics. Is it better to just stay away from this marketplace?

Nope, Gumroad’s legit. They filter out bot hits, so your shortener shows more.

If you use Trustpilot scores to define if something is legit or scam, then, all airline companies and payment processors are scams... to name some examples, search PayPal, Stripe, Ryan Air and see their ratings

Well, I haven’t gotten any visits for many weeks, even though my contents gets hundreds of thousands of views. So I doubt. And it doesn't show my visits when I use different devices with different ip and different internet etc so... + my friend visited too, same result.

I’ve noticed the same gap in tracking...Gumroad analytics can definitely be off. It’s not necessarily a scam, but it’s not the most transparent either. Might be worth testing other platforms like Payhip or Lemon Squeezy to compare performance. Have you tried any others yet?

Not a scam, just a shitty analytics and tracking system causing this gap

I've had a pretty good experience with them tbh.

Gumroad has issues analytics can be inconsistent, and some users report delays or bans. However, many still profit there. If trust is a concern, consider alternatives like Payhip or Sellix. Always diversify traffic tracking tools and marketplaces to stay safe.

So, it is trustworthy but you can't see any sales or other analytics because there are issues. Thanks a lot. Now I trust it. Case closed.

Gumroad's analytics can be pretty inconsistent, but that doesn't make it a scam, just not super reliable. If you're worried, maybe try Payhip or Sellix too, and always double-check your traffic with other tools.

Gumroad has been around for too long to be a scam, also link shorteners cannot be relied upon to give the accurate traffic data. Everyone I know that uses Gumroad mostly have something positive to say.

Trustpilot score is still 1.3. There you can read that they lie about their fees, customer service never replies, AI assistant sucks, can't make the payment, bugs, double charges without giving refund, charges more than supposed to, and many other complaints.

In which world is this site not a scam?

Yeah, Gumroad's analytics can be off, but that doesn't make it a scam. It's more about their tracking system being kinda weak. If you're worried, maybe try other platforms like Payhip or Lemon Squeezy to see if they work better for you.

Gumroad is not a scam.

With 13.8M visitors last month and my personal experience of making money with them, it is definitely not a scam.

Forget about trustpilot.
