The Basics for a Decent AutoBlogging Business
- good theme. good unique header. Clean.
- ditch all the Wordpress navigation. Use Navigation Links to Category pages only.
- use genuinely good, clean PLR article content
- lots of images.
- use standalone independent WP blogs for money sites
- use WordpressMU and Blogger for link-building
- Build a few good blogs, not 1000's of crappy ones with crap content.
- use only a few good plugins for SEO. Too many slow down the Blog.
The Necessities
- rock solid drip-feed posting. All plugins are buggy. I use RSStoBlog. PM for me reason why.
- auto-post over months. Be patient. It looks natural.
- differentiate each site. Don't leave a footprint.
How to Monetize
- go beyond Adsense. If you have "buyer" visitors, sell them.
- use Clickbank Hopads embedded in articles
- use your own offer rotation script to sell CPA offers
- sell your own PLR ebooks
- build a mailing list with free giveaways. Sell then CPA.
What I've learned that Made a Big Difference
- use only 10 to 15% scraped content embedded in good PLR article content
- rotate 5% 'fresh content' on every page.
The Absolute Best Thing I've Learned about AutoBlogging
Don't do it.
I don't auto-blog, I build lots of good blogs using automation. I build long-term assets.
Most auto-blogs and blog farms look like a slaughterhouse of off-topic rubbish content that is tossed up any way they can. Even if you get traffic for awhile, what would you do landing on that bloody page? Probably hit the Back Button. And for some reason, my attempts at auto-blogs always fell off the index over time.
How you get the auto-posting done is not as important as "what" you are posting and that is stays in a Tight Theme inside a single Category
Themes matter to Google, so they matter to me.
Themed Content. Focused Themed Content on single silo only. That's been the key element for me.

Your Content Themes become Categories and they should come from Keyword Research. Enter "Acne" into the Google Keyword Tool... The top 10 searches would likely make great Categories for an Acne Blog.
That's it.
