Guide to Buying Aged Expired/Expiring Domains?

I'm going to be building a large network of blogs for the sole purposes of backlinking, so I'm wanting to buy aged domains with PR that are on the godaddy auction, or are expiring etc.

Are there any good free guides out there that explain the do's and dont's of this so I know what to do before I start spending the money?

Thanks, but I'm more looking for an info guide on how to do it, what to look for, how to keep the PR, etc etc.

you may want to try some of the domaining forums that focus on that stuff -- tons of discussions on that there.

Agreed with werrich, read up on namepros dot com, domainnamewire dot com, dnforums dot com, and keep an eye on what guys like Frank Schilling and Adam Dicker are doing and not doing.

There's an e-book for "domainbie's", it is pretty introductory but might be worth your time to read through.
