[GUIDE] Scrapebox newbie tut [GUIDE]

Well I guess 18 is quite young, if you ask me. :D

Thanks for the answers and judging by it, it does look like I'm alittle late :P Looks like it is quite costly just too start up scrapebox. But could you make enough to cover those costs in the first month?

Regards

Luke

Definitely, that's what I like about Scrapebox. PM me and I'll give you a method to start out with. I'd post it here but it'll be seen my ever Tom Dick and Harry, and it's saturated enough.

Hey Wolfpack, I am curious as to why you say scapebox is not as effective as it used to be? I just bought it today and now I am second guessing myself.

Also, do you really need to get separate hosting for scrapebox that cost's $40-60 a month?

I mean I have some money to spend but that seems outrageous to me.

Excellent guide. +REP given.

I left my computer on and ran it at the start, but it's much more productive on a semi-dedicated 99.9% uptime VPS. 2GB RAM = 4 SB instances, I can rake in 10+PR5 a day, and 250 PR5+ can be sold to 25 people or so for $9/ea. Work out the maths and you'll see why that's so awesome (takes me ~20 days to sell the list to 25 people).

It's not as good since Yahoo closed up it's doors for Site Explorer - it makes harvesting competitors backlinks is less efficient, and they had a much higher stick rate I felt.

I've been on these forums for the past 2 weeks researching scrapebox and hear nothing but good things. I'm just starting out and think scrapebox would be a great initial investment.

Thank you for such a great newbie tutorial!

The funny thing is, I went to go buy it and the site is down :/ Hopefully it will be back up by tonight.

Any other nifty tools you suggest after mastering scrapebox? I was thinking TA?

You will make far more money and waste far less time concentrating on looking for methods and then searching for tools to outsource that method. Only buy tools you need, not just because you think they'll *eventually* make money, but because they will improve the methods you already have. You'll earn money alot quicker this way, and the learning curve will be more wnjoyable as you make money while learning how to use a new program. :)

Thanks for the advice!

Okay this is the noobiest question of questions but why do I need proxies for SB?

Thanks for the great newbie guide! We are going to include this in our training book for our team! Much continued success!

Proxies will keep your computer IP safe. Also, proxies will prevent IP blocks from google and other search engines.

Yeah, this should be something that's made clear. Your personal IP is that - proxies protect you. Don't wanna be fucking without protection :)

Where can i find this connection speed you speak of for testing when you mention how many connections per a MB?

have you guys noticed that using the advanced operators get you banned like in 10 minutes.

site:, intitle: etc will get you banned quick. Same thing with minus sign? or not, got to test

I am using 100 private proxies too

Read the thread again! Never use private proxies to harvest. And yes, ScrapeBox is coming to an end. Google are catching up with the program and are finding out how it's working. It's not as effective today as it was 3 months ago

I don't think it's coming to an end, maybe some of the old uses are less effective now, but I've had a lot of success finding high PR 4+ on topic sites to manually comment on that I would never have found without SB.

Thanks mate, just build my first website, can't wait to start the backlinking.
