[GUIDE] Scrapebox intermediate tut [GUIDE]

I was wondering something similar....I have checked and found a lot of links posted after my blasts.

What would be the appropriate way to ping / get them indexed the fastest?

B.T.W. @wolfpack Great Guide posts! A lot of what you've posted has confirmed what I already thought and I've learned a lot too!

Thanks!

Because you scraped the URLs from G00gle in the first place means the page itself is already indexed (well, the majority of them - some will fall out since you scraped them). You really don't want to get them all indexed at once given this throws up negative signals in G's eyes. For blog comments, I generally let G find them by themselves thereby giving a slow drip fed accumitation rather than a huge influx.

That said, if you want to get your URLs indexed quickly one sure way is to run them through the SB add-on for the cache date - filter them and only post to ones with a cache date within say, a month at most. Thats abit of a chore so most people will simply blast and let them be found naturally. The other methods if you are insistent on getting them indexed quickly is the many indexing services, linkalicious, backlink indexer, nucluer indexing etc, etc.

Very Nice Post!
Thanked and Bookmarked!
i hope to see a Professional tut guide soon. :)

My bad, I didn't mean the sites indexed in g00gle, what I meant to say was the bl showing up in YSE.

Thanks for your assistance.

I really like the section on operators and how powerful they are. I didn't actually realise how powerful SB is!

What is considered an AA. Is it a list of blogs that SB reports have successfully been posted OR is only the (much smaller) list of blogs that SB actually found a link on immediately after the blast?

Shezzz....all I see is nik picking comments here. FFS lets rep Wolfpack for this post because it in essence is a superb guide for any SB user. If you read the text well you will be well on your way to SB mastery - there are some real gems in here for even the most experienced SB'er.

Thanks Wolfpack, great post, thanks & rep+ given.

Totally agree mate!

The latter - it is blogs that immediately accept your backlink. These are AA, which stands for autoapprove.

Nicely done. You gave some info that I was not aware of. I did not know that SB could use all of G's search operators. That info will come in handy.

I hope that you and others will continue this thread and add some more - little known tips and tricks.

thanks + rep given!
you give me one thing i intend to code.
you save my day!

Thanks for this but still i am having hard time understanding scrapebox!

Superb post buddy! thank you for that.

I have a question about something you mentioned a little in the newbie tut, but I got confused.

Which actions should be made using private/shared proxies? and which actions am I able to do without proxies at all?

All of your scraping should be done with public proxies and all your posting with private ones.

This is awesome, thanks for this guide. I finally got the hang of scrapebox but this will help me push myself further and improve what I am doing.

Private proxies are only for use in comment posting, blogchecking, link extracting, and backlink checking. Public proxies I mostly use to scrape keywords, more than anything, but you can use trhem for most things (except for link checking and comment posting, not a clever plan). Ask SweetFunny about this and she'll surely help you better than me.

For filtering the "No Follow" blogs, wouldn't you want something more specific like:
Code:
rel="external nofollow"
 rel='external nofollow'
rel="nofollow"
  rel='nofollow'

As I've seen a lot of blogs have the external tag which may throw off the filter checking. Unless I am mistaken .. heh.

That's a very good starting list :) I'm not very proficient with HTML anymore (I used to study it when it was HTML 4, when did that even change :eek:), so if anybody else has a big list of all the possible nofollow HTML tags that'd be really really helpful

Thought up an extra tip I thought I'd share today, it's a sneaky little way to get more out of your keywords.

Basically it makes use of the ~ operand, which only works for Google btw. I twon't hurt if you use it with other search engines, but it won't do anything.

Synonyms and relevant backlinks:

If you have a large list of AA URLs and want to do a very targetted blast, you'd want to only really blast to URLs that are related to whatever keywords your page has. So, you'd be looking to comment on blogs that contain that keyword, or keywords, but only specifying "chicken" might be too specific - we could make use of other related blogs that contained the word "poultry", surely that's still very relevant. So that introduces this method:

1. Load up your AA list, and copy it to the clipboard.
2. Paste the URLs in the keywords section, then append them with the "site:" operand, by clicking the M.
3. Create a list of several keywords that you want to use for your blog, and save them in a .txt, and append all of them with a ~ sign.
4. Merge these to your URLs. Your keywords list will look a bit like this:
Code:
~KW1 site:http://www.example1.com/
~KW1 site:http://www.example2.com/
~KW2 site:http://www.example1.com/
~KW2 site:http://www.example2.com/
etc etc.
5. Click harvest, I'd suggest only using Google. You're done!

You can test this method too. Go to Google, find a random webpage, and think of a word that definitely would not be on the page, I like the word chicken, because who the fuck writes about chickens? Then type in ~chicken site:thatwebsite.com/whatever, and it should not return anything.
Then find a word on that website, such as "computer", and type in ~desktop site:thatwebsite.com/whatever into Google. This should return a result! This is basically what the method is doing, on a larger scale.

This will return a list of the AA blogs that contain content relevant to your keywords, or related to your keywords. Effective for making very targetted lists from large batches of AA lists.

Enjoy ;)

This is getting a lot less attention than before, so final bump to see if there's any interest.:cool:
