    Hi,

I just wanted to share some tips with those who were looking into getting themselves an account on Sape network (sape.ru). I'll be really honest, I'm fairly new to Sape myself. However, I've learned so much in that little time.

First off, let's start with account creation.

Before you ever decide to get an account on Sape, I'd recommend that you use Chrome if you don't speak Russian, and let the translator translate the pages automatically. This will save you lots and lots of time.

Getting an account on sape is really easy, you just enter your information like any other website and then you'll be sent an email with a confirmation link. Oh yeah, you don't really have to add your passport information, you can just skip that and proceed with account creation. (I'm not going to post screenshots for now, if anyone has problems with that, I'll post screenshots).

Next, you'll need to upload some funds. You can either use QIWI Wallet, Web Money, ROBOXchange or just select the last option if you're a credit card holder.

Next, you'll be asked to add your credit card information and you will be charged a random amount which you'll have to verify later before being able to add more funds. For this, an instant SMS notification from your bank will be do the trick. Or you could try giving them a call or alternatively you could wait till you get your monthly statement.

Note: I've seen a lot of guys saying they wouldn't trust a Russian hacking website with their CC information.. Well, this isn't a hacking website, and they don't even process credit card payments themselves. They use a 3rd party payment processor (Payonline.ru). I made a quick research and found out they are legit. So you shouldn't worry about your credit card information being in the wrong hands.

Once you have verified your account, you can add any amount you want. They will usually add an extra fee to your payment, which is about %5.2 of your total transaction. So if you add 500 rubels, you'll be charged for about 526 rubels.

    Now, let's add some links.

First, you'll need to go to "Optimizer" page at the top, and select "Create a new project".

On the next page, you'll need to choose a project name. So just choose a name for your project and don't change any of the other options and click add.

On the next screen you'll be provided with more options.

    [x] for the main pages
[x] for the pages of the second level of nesting (HC)
[x] for the pages of the third level of nesting (HC)

These are basically the maximum number of external page that you want to be on any of the pages. I usually stick with 10 max on all 3.

Links to ERROR: That's the period you'd leave links with error status before the system automatically removes them. I usually stick with the defaullt (7 days).

Now, the option for removing links not in Yandex wouldn't really make sense if you enable it.. because you most likely want to target Google. So leave everything else as is.

Now you have successfully created your project and only need to add your keywords and links before choosing where you want your links to be placed.

In order to do that, click on the URL icon and select the first option in the list "Add a URL". In the first box, add your URL then add your keyword on the 2nd/3rd boxed. If you want to build links with only your URL without the keyword, just add your URL and leave the other 2 boxes empty.

On the next page, you'll be asked to add variations of your keyword/URL combination. You can add text before or after your anchor, or you can choose to just add your keyword/url.

The syntax for adding your keyword is: #a#keyword#/a#. You can add text before or after your keyword like this: Hello this is my #a#keyword#/a# right here.

Now click add to add your keywords to the system and go back to the Optimizer page.

Next to the wrench icon (settings), you can find the search icon. Click that to be taken to the page where you can pick your links.

On the quick selection page, you'll be presented with a lot of options or filters to apply to your search.

Below I'll outline these options and what they do:

    PR: The page's PR!
PR Master: The homepage PR of the website.
TCI: Leave that, since that's only for Yandex.
External Links: the maximum number of external links on the page.
The projected number of external links: Not really sure what that is, really. But I just leave it empty.
    Monthly Price
Domain Older: I usually go for 180 days or 365 days depending on the type of link I'm looking for.
YACA/DMOZ: Check if the site is listed in YACA (Yandex directory) or DMOZ
Subject areas: Handy if you want to choose English websites only
    Subject YACA
    Region
    Domains: Choose domain TLD
Keywords: If you want to search for websites/pages containing your keywords
Time added to the system: Handy tool if you want to choose freshly added websites or older websites
ID Sites/ID Pages: If you want to search for a specific site or page using their ID
    Favorites: Search your favorites list
Show only sites with open links: Some websites won't allow you to see the page your link will be places on. I usually tick that box since I want to know where my link is being placed at.
Display sites posting links: Not sure what that is either.
Do not display the sites that have already purchased N references in other current URL: That's good if you don't want to purchase links on pages/websites you have purchased link on before.
Presence in Yandex: Again, if you're promoting your site on Google, this won't matter.
Presence in Google: This is very important, always choose this!
Level Domain: Pages of all levels, second or third level.
The nesting level of page: If you want homepage links only, just tick Home or whatever level you want.
Sort results by: I usually sort by either Price or PR, depending on the project.
Output mode: How you want your results to be displayed. Table looks really nice.

Now you have a good idea about filters you can apply to your search, but wait, there's still one more thing.

Before starting to place your link on any of the pages, I'd suggest that you install Majestic SEO or Moz plugin for Chrome. Using the data supplied by these addons you can easily analyze the pages before adding your link. I also usually manually check if the page is indexed by google and if the PR of the page is real. Sometimes, the system outputs wrong information, but it's accurate about 95% of the time.

After placing your links, sometimes you'll get a notice on your Optimizer page with pages waiting for confirmation. So just tick the boxes next to them and select the 1st option in the drop-down menu and click go.

By now you should be more familiar with the system and should be able to get yourself some quick links. There are still a lot of things that I'd go over but that should be in another thread.

Thank you for reading and hope this helps someone!

    Griff

Let me be the first one to thank you for such a good post on Sape.

I would appreciate if anyone can also do a video showing how to buy good links.

Thank you for shedding some light about SAPE :)

Can you give some examples of link prices... let's say PR5 and PR6 links from legitimate English sites.

The filter translation is incredibly useful for people starting out in SAPE. Great work Griffon!

It really depends.. why don't you check the prices yourself?

Fairly easy, just use the "PR" option at the top. However, I've found the articles to be a bit pricey, plus.. most of the sites aren't in English anyway which is a bad thing.. so why bother?

Because I want to know in advance if it's worth the hassle for me before going through the entire process. I would appreciate few example prices of PR5 and PR6 legitimate English sites.

    good informative post,

To all those who are asking the OP to post examples of sites and prices - I don't think thats a good idea, infact I am fairly sure it would be a breach of SAPE's TOS.

for the record SAPE has VERY few english sites available, the english sites are only usefull for creating links from the "right" places, the big juice all comes from .ru's .by's and other .eastern euro sites.

to anyone out there that thinks sape is the place to find dirt cheap, nice clean contextual english links from websites that dont have anything to do with porn or pills escort agencys in moscow ("anal cost double" - actual KW on a sape link) or ringtones - then you should rethink whether or not sape is for you. it IS nasty, it DOES work.

I just read it all again - I stand corrected.

    the answer to your question, (sorry OP) would be;

There are no english real pr6 sites on sape. pr5 - not often.

English links are 10x more expensive than the equivalent link in another language.

PR4 english links, ranging from 5 to 500 usd per month, it all depends on nesting level, number of other links, niche etc.

the english sites in sape tend to be mostly crap that has been "made for sape" ie blogs on expired domains full of spun content, often with fake PR or bogey back link profiles. these blogs have many pages and therefore "fit any niche".

for real high quality english links from genuine sites = sape is useless.

for ranking any site in any language = sape

Thanks for the clarification. So let me ask another question - how much are PR5 and PR6 of legitimate sites (not "made for SAPE", could be in any language)?

"Please" or maybe a quick "thank you" first?

its not really good to use SAPE. russian webmasters, corporations and even seo-companies have refused sape links since this year because of magic letters and filters.
and that backend script, which you must to install to sell links through the exchange is vulnerable in some special way. it is vulnerable to analysis, which can be automated. you can find all sape links on the page, using this method with 99% possibility.

We can play :) you give me an url and i show you all sape links on the page.

Most people seem to struggle with actually funding the SAPE account, so let's run through that.

First of all, open a SAPE account and an Entropay account under the same name - ideally your real name. There's really nothing to worry about using either.
Now fund your Entropay account and go to the add funds page on SAPE and click the credit card option:

When you enter the card details for the first time, it'll say that you need to verify the card before you can use it. This is just the same as PayPal - it'll charge a small amount to the EntroPay card that you enter on that page.

Now, in an ideal world - after 2-3 days the amount will be deducted. Contract Entropay via the help desk and ask for the amount charged in rubles. If it has gone through, enter that amount on the SAPE payment page and you're good to go.

However, quite often Entropay rejects the payment and so you don't have an amount to enter. It's actually very easy to get past this point:

Either email support@sape.ru or submit a help ticket at http://help.sape.ru/sape/faq/1165 - you can do it in English, although adding a Google translate version won't hurt. Simply say to them that you're trying to verify the Entropay card, but that the card rejected the payment - ask them to verify the card manually.

Usually within 24 hours (and provided that your details on your account match the card details) they'll manually verify and you're good to go. The SAPE help team are really helpful and really quick.

    That's all it takes - happy SAPE-ing.

It would be much better if you would check yourself first before pointing fingers. In this forum there is a "Thanks" button which I already used to thank both the OP and mugdug who also helped with his answers.
