My site has 200-300 page views per month.

and my site has 76 posts, 90% informational, 10 affiliates.

Also, adsense is approved.

So when can i expect earning from adsense? How much traffic do i need to start earning?

my some 5-6 pages are on 1st page but others are on 2nd, 3rd or 4th page.

That is looking bad,
find out whats the problem,
check competitors,
validate niche - its not too late.
This is your starting point.

At least 1000 pagviews per day to make significant revenue with AdSense. If traffic is completely from USA, may be with less visitors also you can make $100 per month.

potential reasons for which you might not get clicks:

- you have too few ads
- your ads are placed where no one sees them
- your ads are obvious and people hate them so they don't click on them (try to make your ads look like part of your site)
- the pages with ads don't get (enough) traffic
- you are targeting bad keywords (keywords with low CPC)
- there's something wrong with the code of your ads and the ads don't show up / display properly on your site (check your site on someone else's computer to see how your site appears to visitors)

200+ visitors a month should earn you something (at least a few cents, even if the keywords are bad in terms of Adsense revenue). In general, the trick to making good money with Adsense boils down to few important things:

- ad optimization (try different ad formats, ad sizes, ad colours, and ad placements until you get the desired effect, but of course, this needs to be done over several months and with constant flow of traffic, not in the same day when you only get 10 visitors a day);
- target keywords with good CPC (I never wrote content for my Adsense sites around keywords with CPC lower than $0.3, but in most cases lower than $0.5, $0.3 being the exception for niches that had really bad CPC);
- whenever possible, surround your Adsense code with text that contains several high CPC keywords. Back in the day (2014), when I did Adsense before being banned for buying clicks, I noticed that google served me ads based on 1-2 lines of text that surrounded the ads, and when that text contained 1-3 high CPC keywords the ads would reflect those keywords and if my users clicked on one of those ads my earnings would skyrocket. One time I earned $26, $15 and $34 with 3 clicks on the same ad in only one day, because of the high CPC keywords surrounding the ad, and this in a niche in which most keywords paid $0.8 on average.

But like I said, this was in 2014, it's possible that google have become better at detecting the topic of the page that ads are placed on, and the trick of engulfing your ads in high CPC keywords might not work anymore, I don't know.... but it's still worth testing, just like everything with Adsense: test, test, test, and test even more!

EDIT: I forgot to mention, when doing Adsense it's generally better to stick with Adsense only and not add affiliate links or other monetization options because you'll get less clicks on your Adsense ads
