So I realise that some people on here might be a bit chubby like me, or in my case just plain fat after a Christmas binge, and may want to lose weight, but not really knowledgeable in the food department.
Well here is my list. I'm pretty much use to binge eating, followed by fast weight loss stripping. So I built this list as my go-to everytime I need to go on a stripping session.
P.S I've tried every fad diet you have ever heard of over the last 7 years, I promise you that the below is the easiest. (It's not a fad diet, it's just a healthy diet that fills you up without pounding on the calories)
How to use this list for shopping?
Create a spreadsheet, with 3 columns: Group A, Group B, Group C.
Now google the first item on the list "Low starch vegetables list" and choose which foods you like from this list, add them to your shopping, and stick them in group B
Repeat this for each food type.
Group A: Healthiest / Eat as much as you can
Group B: Moderate amounts, healthy but don't binge or you will gain weight.
Group C: Avoid adding anything to this list if possible, but if something is irresistible then go for it.
Your goal is to each as much as Group A as possible, whilst including a bit of group B into your diet.
It will be pretty easy to diet using this method. And remember guys, any type of sugar whether it's glucose, fructose, sucralose etc has shown a massively strong correlation with obesity. Harvard have a good article on this.
So always minimise sugar intake and count your calories!

What to eat daily/in large amounts:
Low-starch vegetables (greens, mushrooms, cucumber, zucchini, etc.)
Lean meats (poultry, seafood)
Low-carb/high fiber plant-based proteins (tofu, tempeh, chia seeds)
Low-sugar fruits (berries)
Light dairy (yogurt, greek yogurt)
What to eat in moderate amounts (i.e. mind the portions!):
Starchy vegetables (potatoes, corn, etc.)
Less lean meats (beef, pork)
Certain plant-based proteins (nuts, seeds)
Moderate-sugar fruits (peaches, apricots, apples, pears, oranges, etc.)
Moderate dairy (skim milk, hard cheeses, light cheeses like feta, goat cheese, ricotta, mozzarella, etc.,)
Healthy oils (olive oil, sesame oil, avocado oil—again, mind the portions!)
What to eat occasionally/rarely (or on special occasions):
High sugar fruits (tropical fruits like pineapple, mangos, bananas, with some exceptions, like papaya and guava)
Dried fruit (because this is basically candy lol)
Heavy dairy (heavy cream, butter, cheeses made from whole fat milk)
Less healthy oils (hydrogenated oils, palm oil... which is found in many chocolate bars!)
And, of course, junk food!
