I've seen a lot of people struggling with posting on Reddit with new accounts and I think I can help 'cos I've been on the other side as I moderate several subreddits and know what's going on.

Most of you think that mods are the problem, but they don't have anything to do with it, it's AutoMod flagging your posts and autodeleting them. In an ideal world, reddit mods would read your comment, realize it's not spam and approve it. But that's not going to happen. Reason being that, for example, big subreddits get 50 of those comments a day and nobody is going to sift through and manually approve them.

So, let's suppose you made a reddit account today, you're at 0 karma and all your comments/posts get shadowed. What should you do? The best solution is to get yourself an aged reddit account with post and comment karma from the social media section of the Marketplace. Pay attention to the ratio between post and comment karma, the latter should always be higher than the former. Yes, you've read that right, nowadays, comment karma is worth more on Reddit. Why? Because AI tools can generate thousands of posts easily. I've seen bot farms run 24/7 with millions in post karma.

The obvious question is, why don't these bots do the same with comment karma? It's simple, users can easily detect and report them. Guess what happens to your account after a few users report it... Basically, post karma is WAY easier to farm on reddit.

Let's imagine you don't have any startup cash and want to do things the ol' fashioned way.

Your best best is to go to /r/AskReddit and COMMENT on 2-3 posts PER DAY and actually contribute to the discussion. Emotions are your biggest friend, so make sure that your comments are at least somewhat insightful, personal, inspiring and filled with emotions.

Let's say the question asked is: "What do you like to eat for breakfast?"

Instead of just saying "cereal", be creative and create a small story around the question: "Oatmeal. Definitely oatmeal. Yeah, I'm degenerate like that. My late father used to be a professional bodybuilder and I'm following in his footsteps. Every morning as I pour the oatmeal, I think of us lifting weights together. God, I miss him so much!"

I did 3 things here:

1) say that I'm a degenerate even though there's nothing degenerate about it - allows users to comment on that and say 'oh no, you're fine', basically, let's you collect more karma and traction
2) I'm going to center my reddit persona around fitness, so it's a good idea to start early - later, I'll be promoting some testosterone boosters or whatever
3) Made it personal and emotional - more upvotes for sure, as some people will remember their father and how they used to play with him, basically, you're playing on people's emotion and empathy

You will do NOTHING but post on /r/askreddit until you reach 100 comment karma. DO NOT post anything yet.

Now you expand, you'll start POSTING on /r/jokes, /r/aww and /r/pics (they have low karma requirements).

Pirate a joke book, go to a random page, copy the joke in the appropriate format and type in the following site:reddit <your joke>, that will let you know when the joke was last posted or if it was posted at all. READ the rules of /r/jokes and see if your joke has been reposted recently. If not, it's fair game. This is an easy way to gain post karma.

For /r/aww, it's best to use your own pet, as that yields the most karma as it's more authentic. Don't have a pet? Neighbours. Don't have neighbours? Pick a cat of the street, snap a photo and say something like "Meet Mimzy. Isn't she the cutest?" or "My SO is out all day, I have Mimzy all to myself!" As always, emotions, emotions, emotions.

For /r/pics, use original photos as well. Sunsets work really well, I had the most success with them. If you're living in a large city where there's nothing interesting going on, snap a photo from a building showing people walking with a caption "The endless masses walking towards the grinding machine" some BS like that, as long as it's creative and provoking, it's fine.

Now that the account is lukewarm, do 1-2 posts and 3-5 comments per day. Once you collect 1000 post and 1000 comment karma, you're good to go - you can basically post anywhere at any time, no restrictions.

"But sir Scrib, I don't want my bodybuilding reddit account littered with trash!"

There's an easy solution to that, once you start posting in your niche, for every post or comment you make, delete one of your old posts or comments. Eventually, you'll reach a point where you're no longer littered with trash! Don't worry, you keep all the karma even after deleting posts, so go ham!

Last but not least, DO NOT use subreddits like /r/FreeKarma4All or similar, MANY subreddits have them flagged and will AUTO DELETE any posts made by a user that has participated in the subreddit above.

That's it for now, good luck!

I am always happy to absorb such knowledge, great!

Instead of spending valuable time coming up with stuff, why not just buy upvotes directly from a SMM panel?

Thanks for the guide, you can also skip the tedious process of karma farming and buy an already farmed account.

I've tried using aged accounts but reddit keeps banning the accounts just after a few posts.

As a fellow reddit user. You don't need to buy a reddit account with good karma. You need common sense on how to use a reddit account and how to farm karma.

thats because buying accounts never works. the other guy selling accounts above your comment pimps his service in all these threads when he knows it doesn't work. it stopped working last year. most bought accounts immediately are shadowbanned on the first comment

It still works, maybe u don t know how to do it

thats bs (and of course more propoganda by another account seller all you guys are frauds trying to pimp a servie by lying) cause the minute i switched to my own accounts it goes through and ive bought from a ton of different providers its not just one and i been around for years. Funny how i can by from dozens of providers and have problems each time but never once had a problem with my accounts after years. So its the accounts themselves.

absolutely BS man, everyone knows most suppliers dont supply quality accounts, sell for super expensive and the account is gone days before you can even post- there's no ROI in that lol not sustainable
