Hey, guys :)

I know that there are often free premium codes for Grammarly around, but if you miss them or if they do not work, you'll need a workaround.

This method is based on Grammarly's referral system. If you invite a friend and he installs the browser extension, both of you get one week of premium for free. If you invite two friends, the weeks accumulate and you get a week two times, therefore two weeks. Easy as that.

What you have to do:

If you're logged in at Grammarly's homepage, go to https://www.grammarly.com/referral?page=extension
At the bottom of the page, there should be a box with "your invite link". Copy that one. Open up another browser where you're not logged in with your Grammarly account. I use Firefox as my main browser so I opened up Chrome to do it.

After that, you simply navigate to your invite link. Grammarly should have a box at the top of the website at this moment, telling you that you've been referred. Simply follow the instructions, install the browser extension and create an account. You do not even need a valid mail address because you get the free week without validating the mail. If you want more time, simply log out (you'll be logged out in the browser extension as well) and clear your cache (in chrome cmd + h and you should find it on the left side). Visit your invite link again and repeat. You do not even have to reinstall the extension. I just did it three times, didn't take longer than 5 minutes and that's the result:

In my opinion that's a really easy way to get a few weeks of premium for free and I've not read about it here yet :)

I'm sorry if that's not the perfect subforum, but I found Copywriting to be the most fitting. If mods got a better idea, feel free to move.

Thanks bro, I just want to let you know that you are making a difference in my life. You save me some money, just enjoying it to the fullest. Best of luck in your endeavors.

Thanks!!!! I had premium for free but it got jacked with their new subscription setup. This worked perfectly thanks!

Been more than 5 months and still working, weird they don't notice this haha :)

this is a life saving hack for writers.

i saved quite a bit of money using this instead of copyscape.

It worked first time, but now it won't let me invite anybody again. It looks like it's either now limited to one invite per member, or they've stripped that option.

Been doing this for about a year now (surprised that it still works). Never knew that you didn’t need an valid email address, thanks for that info.

I'll have to look into this idea. Maybe using a proxie or a VPN or something would allow one to use different IP addresses in order to work around it recognizing your computer more easily. It may also require using different devices, though I don't know that Grammarly has gotten as advanced as Google or not. A VPN should be plenty to work around it but I am not 100% positive. I'm going to look into it anyway even if I can only get 1 week it gives me 1 week to knock it out of the park.

Does anybody know how to find the link once it's removed by Grammarly?

It seems odd, that they're basically not letting me promote it to people.

I got 55% discount by abandoning the cart, they send you a voucher valid for a year
