Hello everyone, in this guide i’m going to explain how you can make the most of your harvested url list with Scrapebox in 3 simple steps.

What i’ve seen is, that most people tend to only extract links from the exact urls from the harvested list. But you can get a lot more powerful expired domains by doing a couple extra steps.

Round 1: Check if indexed domains from harvested urls are expired

In the first round of checking for expired domains, I always begin by checking if the root url of the harvested urls is expired.

  • First import your harvester urls
  • Trim them to root
  • Remove subdomains
  • Remove duplicate domains

Check these with Scrapebox Alive Checker and export not alive links.

Round 2: Extract urls from the root of harvested urls (including subdomains)

In the second round i’ll extract the links from the root of the harvested urls, but keep the subdomains.

Import you harvested urls again

  • Trim them to root
  • Extract links with Link extractor.
  • Import extracted links
  • Trim them to root
  • Remove duplicate domains

Check these with Scrapebox Alive Checker and again export not alive links.

Round 3: Extract urls from the complete harvested urls

In the last round i’m going to extract the links of the actual harvested url’s.

  • Import harvested url's
  • Remove duplicate urls
  • Extract links with link extractor
  • Import extracted links
  • Trim them to root
  • Remove subdomains
  • Remove duplicate domains
Check these with Scrapebox alive checker and again export not alive links.

Now import all the not alive links from the above steps and check if domains are available to register.

Happy domain hunting!
