Stick rate of publicly editable links are very low. If bunch of your backlinks get deleted in a day or two it may get negative impression in big g view.

These links get deleted in 1-2 months and most of the time your site ranking go down due to the spamming on these type of links. I recommend using other methods of getting edu links like scholarshop links or edu blog links or canvas links
