Absolutely agree. A LinkWheel to me just leaves a big footprint to Google. The Flow approach can at least be seen to be what would "normally" happen, if you like.

I'm also really adept at creating videos so after I'd completed the web 2.0 mini-project I was going to use this as my next 'thing to do'.

I don't suffer with 'green eyes', in the sense that I don't get jealous too easily. But, being a noob I really don't have the cash to spend on getting the tools everyone else that packs a punch with their own SEO has. Also, I know I could grab some fiver gigs for some things but laughably I don't even have the spare cash for that :1zhelp:

I do realise that I may have taken on much more than I can chew. However I do have time on my side. I've been reading up on IM for a number of years and I just want a little extra income. I don't want hordes of sites, I'd be happy with just the one I'm working on.... I do plan on re-investing any income wisely.

Oh God I'm sorry this has become more agony aunt, please help me kind of a post.

I just want to say before I finish that your post was fantastically written. It's hit the nail right on the head for many I'm sure! I know you say that you don't really contribute to BHW all that much but I sincerely hope that you do in the future. I'm sure I speak for many here when I say that this site is a much richer place to be with people like you contributing!

Don't worry about the long post. When building Web 2.0s, it would be nice to ensure that you only have 1 set of accounts per IP. Additionally, don't worry about "randomizing" your building of the Web 2.0s. Just do not always link your Web 2.0s to your money site. Like I said in the post, eventually link it to other sites so that you are not ramming down the same backlinks to the same set of URLs. But after a good amount of linking I would find another list. (You don't need to worry about this with popular Web 2.0s because it is a given that everyone and their mother will have a link from them) but if you have 1000 forum profiles, you don't want to continue to use the same 1000 profiles every time for every type of URL you are promoting, which is why I suggested splitting a 20k list into two 10k lists. But all I can say is to make sure you spin your articles, I think SpinChimp is free. Additionally, always use a consistent link building approach and like I said, don't always use promotional anchor text.

I do not need proof because about 5% of my post is opinion. Although everything I have indicated is not necessarily evidenced by any given case study or statistic, it is a compilation of my 3 years of experience coupled with observing others and reading a lot. If you do not want to believe what is written here then that is fine. I don't need to tell everyone that has never heard of a Ferrari that I have one in my garage, it is a waste of time. I prefer not to do a case study anyway because I believe that is spoon feeding others. And there are plenty of good case studies out there as well.

Yeah, for sure. Multiple flows is what I emphasize, none of them being interconnected really. Essentially you can have some short flows or some really long ones too. Mix it up, do it naturally, and be consistent and Google won't know what's up.

Is your advice based on thorough tests and case studies or are you just writing all what you heard or read somewhere and you think it should work?

I have had success SEOing 80 domains at a time using this method. The only thing I did not focus on as much is social presence and being as intricate as I am here.
Yet again I am not going to provide any statistics or case studies because not only do I not want to spend another 5 hours compiling info, but I believe everything written here is more than sufficient. And ask anyone that knows their SEO. I can't see how I am wrong in any aspect. Like I stated before, I am completely fine if you do not want to believe my advice. I'll still be ranking :P

Don't get me wrong, I apreciate your post and I don't demand anything more from you. Just wanted to know if you practice what you preach, because in the SEO world are far too many people with theories taken straight from their asses ;)

Great post but i think we should not rely on tools like Senuke because you are posting the same content on several site with some uniqueness and the content which is surrounding your Backlink is itself shitty content..
 
I actually read your entire post! It just means how interesting and informative your post is, and somewhat funny for me. It was good having a recap of the SEO world in the past years and how it grew and changed time and time again.

I'm fairly new to SEO and only use(d) several tools like UAW, AMR, BMR, and Backlink Banzai. So I did not understand much the part of your sample link-building campaign. Since I started when content and quality links are what mattered, I didn't bother to use tools such as Xrumer since it is considered to be spammy. Your guide is really comprehensive and useful, but not for people like me who are new to black hat SEO and don't have the money to get the tools needed.

Thanks again for the heads up! I've looked around for a Mac compatible spinner and seems like content professor being web based will do the trick. I'll put all your recommendations into practice now! I'll let you know how it goes chief! Cheers

Not necessarily. On Web 2.0s you usually have your own unique profile. If you can post a comment on a low OBL blog then that's some good link juice especially if it is d0follow so it passes on some PR. I mean you can get shitty links on just about any site but if you do it right it will be a decent one at least.

Thanks a lot! AMR is a great tool! Make sure you add directories like crazy! Scrapebox should be your next purchase, there should be a BHW discount here and then I would suggest getting UltimateDemon and then XRumer in the future. That will be all you need. But Scrapebox asap for sure.
