Guidance Post Penguin 3.0

Just like clockwork, my main money site has been slapped in October just like last year. This year, I'm a little more prepared but I have a few questions before moving on.

I currently have a 10 site PBN that has unique articles pointing to my slapped site. I am wondering if I can just change the links and keep the content the same. Also, I have an aged domain, but there was no content. It's now 2 years old - would this appear to google as a 2 year old site or brand new?

As I did get slapped by the algo, would it be okay for me to just resume with my old linkbuilding services? I mainly just use SAPE+ some diversification link building services, but have been looking into buying some rented blog posts here on BHW. In my niche there is little customer loyalty so I don't care if I get slapped every 6months - year, I just need to rank high. Any thoughts? Should I start immediately or wait a few weeks for more information to come to light about the recent update? Thanks for reading and I hope to find some answers in your replies :)

If you got slapped by Penguin and don't care then start over.

No sense in spending money on a penguin affected domain. That thing is over.

Since long term isn't your strategy and you don't mind flushing money down the toilet I would recommend buying solid links that you rent then any type of permanent link building solutions. Permanent links are usually either more expensive if they are good quality, or horrible quality and won't help much.

A few solid paid links can go a long ways. Just throw up some domains and buy some links.
 
Could you point me in the direction of buying some "solid links", every link seller that isn't sape sells links from oversaturated blogs that will get smacked in my opinion. Money really isn't an issue since ROI is extremely high
 
Did you receive any message in GWT ? Or is it only algorithmic penalty ? PM me mate , i can help you to recover from penguin penalty .
 
Are the PBN sites themselves slapped as well or are they clean? Even if clean you can't point ALL the same old sites to a new site and think Google won't notice the amazing correlation. If it were me I'd spread them out to other projects (if clean) or sell them off (again, if clean). If they aren't ranking for anything themselves then just throw it away.

They rank for what they are: It's only a few too, I'd be pointing under 10 to my new site. They were the most powerful links on my site according to ahrefs as well, but in my niche I don't need to recover from ALGO. I just got my developer to migrate to a domain that I have aged for 2 years, going to use the exact same site, but rewrite the content. Just curious on if the same linkbuilding techniques will work post penguin. I'd mostlikely use either PR vortex or Speedrank + their diversification package with some blog posts dripped over 2 months. Thophayt, can you look at a few guys in my niche and try to discern how they have managed to passed all these updates without being slapped? A quick glance at their link profile shows unbelievable amounts of spam, overoptimization of anchor texts, and low quality links everywhere.

Hey i found your post on Blackhatworld(first time here) while doing a 24hour search of "Penguine 3.0" and I must say that i am in the same situation as you. I have a low quality nitch where most of my competition has just a bunch of back link and achor text spam but they are right there in the top. One guy who was slapped last year or the year before and went down in rank has appeared in the top 3 without doing anything just time put him back. My nitch too has very little customer loyalty so a temporary solution to be in the top 3 even if i have to re do it ever year or half a year would be great. Could you teach me how to use your temporary strategy to rank in a low quality key word?
