Guestbook entries still good?

By accident I found an older guestbook script that allows people to post urls ans they are followed links. What do you guys think: Is guestbook commenting on smaller sites still worth it?

 

I find Im still getting a mild amount of value from guestbooks using xrumer. Nothing like back in the day, but still seeing some postive results.

 

They sure do help but they are seen as very spammy. Be careful.

 

Thanks for your comments. I think the trick is to find guestbooks that are not spammed and where my entries will stay on top page for longer period of time. In this case it's easy to do as it's a script in a foreign language and I can just do entries for my Spanish sites. I am looking forward to results

 

Guest blogging is one way of getting traffic. Just make sure that you have valuable posts.

 

What? Guest blogging is something totally different.

No longer using guestbooks since you can get better backlinks elsewhere. Would rather focus 100% of my time on backlinks that will yield me to better results.
