The IM/MMO niche. I am offering a 1000 word unique article about Affiliate Marketing containing a link to my squeeze page. I'd like to offer it to at least a 10k UV/month site.

I think you are better off finding blogs related to your niche from Google and contacting them for guest writer opportunity.
You can also buy from service providers, but insist on seeing them first thou a lot of this providers will not want to display it, you can look for review from the provider just to be on the safer side and don't buy something that isn't worth it all.

That's a site specifically for people who have blogs to look for guest bloggers. You can find people in your industry who have relevant blogs and offer to post for them. You can also post up your site and let people know what kind of sites you want to write for. If you have a bunch of posts, you can submit them to the article directory and people can pick it up. Unlike other article directories, My Blog Guest's directory only lets one site pick up each article, so there's no duplicate content issues.
Alternatively, you can just use Google to find blogs in your industry. Offer to write for other people's blogs. Use the comments section and blogrolls to find other blogs just by clicking on links. Send a lot of offers by email and you'll definitely get a handful of positive responses. Of every 10 emails you send, maybe 1-2 people will say yes. After all, you're offering free content right?

Should be easy enough to find relevant blogs willing to accept guest posts. However, finding blogs with good traffic willing to take a post linking to a squeeze page might not be as straight forward. You'll probably find people asking for payment in this case as it isn't likely to be something a lot of people will be willing to link freely to.
