I've been thinking of trying to get some guest posts for one of my blogs, but I'm not sure how to go about doing it. Do I just email people asking for posts? Do I offer them something in return?

You can, depending on what your blog niche is, it can be easy or hard to find people to write for you. What you would usually offer in return is for them to add a couple links to their article that links to their page, this gives them link juice and you get content, it is a win-win.

Check the post date before pulling a forum post out of the very depths of hell. This is from biblical times!

To contact random Website owners worked for me. But you need some other Domains to give them Backlinks in return.

But not if they are from 2011, they're probably dead. Check the date
