Aside from using queries like "guest post" intitle:"keyword" how do you find sites that accept guest posts and whats the best approach to getting emails read and posts placed?

i know of myblogguest but the quality is low

You could search for queries such has:

writers
submit article
submit articles
contribute
guest blogging
guest blogger
guest writer
guest writing
and more

You could also search for guest blogging network

make a thread offering guest posts... I have many sites so PM me what niches you write for and I will tell you if I have a site that matches.
