Guest post always work. It pretty much depends on how you do it. Even PBN still works. If you do guest posting right, It will be like you are doing white hat SEO which Google loves.
 
Of course it works. It's just like getting a link from a legit site. Why would G penalize it? Unless of course you're getting links from websites that spell out "we accept guest posts for a fee" etc.
 
Guest posts will always work for as long as Google values links in their ranking algorithms.
 
Well, according to Google, guest post link has no values!! But result shows that guest post still works.

Nowadays, it's quite hard of getting free posts, I tried several blogs, all as asking for Huge money... Not sure if this is good for the site or not.
 
Yes brother. According to me, Guest posts works better than other services.
 
Bottom line is that guest posting does work. The facts speak for itself and show that it is still a relevant way to gain high-quality links. But guest posting effectively in 2019 is very different than it was even a few short years ago.
 
Yes, it still works IF you:

- guest post with REAL SITES with REAL traffic and REAL domain authority

It also helps tremendously if your post is NOT keyword-driven but NICHE specific and SEARCH INTENT DRIVEN

Finally, the best guest posts are those that EARN LINKS - ie., case studies or survey results
 
Guest post is still working, as getting cheap links all should focus on guest posts for long term results(not for new sites of course building links depend on site and time when can do guest post)
