Hi guys,

Just a quick one.

I'm sure we've all come across radio sites in our outreach lists before. Wanted to find out if anyone has had any luck in getting guest posts or sponsored articles published on those sites? And if so, if you could share how that would be great.

Thanks!

hmm
Honestly, I've never found sites with this theme
Even if there are such sites, they are probably long out of date

I would advise you to just find a good sites (general topic) and write a good article on your topic

Thanks for your reply @maxmayer, but these sites are definitely operational still as they can be found in competitor referring domains still. For a bit of context, I am talking about sites similar to https://b105country.com/

I can't say I have come across any radio sites but I have had experience with podcast websites in the past which I would imagine is very similar. So hopefully, this comes with some value.

In my experience, the link was very good but I checked all metrics beforehand and made sure that it was niche relevant. Some of these sites look and feel a bit spammy so I'm sure if you find one with decent traffic, DA and relevancy etc, it would provide value (maybe even a little traffic).

Thanks for that @Jabbz18 - appreciate the insight. I have a list of good radio sites like the one I inserted above, my query was more to see whether anyone had any luck getting articles placed on such sites, rather than the value they bring. I can never seem to get through to the right person, regardless of what email/template I am using.

I found this one through competitor analysis so I knew they accepted, you'll usually find a contact form somewhere. I then just reached out and said I'd be interested in working with them and they allowed me to publish an article.

The best advice I can give you is don't overcomplicate it, just be honest and say you would love to work something out with them and request a quote for placements. If they accept articles 9/10 they'll be happy with the monetization and get back to you.

Soon you'll find someone who gets back and has other sites. I usually then ask if they know anyone else who might be interested in working with me and then you'll have a network. Once you find 1-2 people in a niche it grows from there.

Just a tip: You can find tons of radio sites in PR syndication reports.

I'm not saying they will all accept guest posts but you'll get a sophisticated list of at least each U.S state radio sites who are accepting press releases so you can use the same list for outreach.

You really don't even need to buy the press release.. a few PR sites have those lists open.

Thanks for the info @INCC - I hadn't thought about going down the PR network route but that definitely makes more sense than reaching out to each radio site using their contact forms individually!
