Hi, I’m relatively new here. I’ve been reading a lot, but I hope this is an OK place to post my question. It’s not necessarily a black hat or white hat question, but some of the services I might use could be black hat so I figured this was the better place.

I am a professional writer and editor with a day job. I’ve started a couple of affiliate sites to make some money on the side, and I hope to turn them into a full-time business eventually. One of my niches is timely, so I’m looking to get traffic ASAP. I want to use guest posting and possibly PBNs for backlinks. I have done a few guest posts just by finding places that will accept them, but it’s tedious to find the sites.

I want to sign up with a guest post placement service, BUT they all seem to insist on writing the posts for you and they are priced accordingly. It's the same with PBNs. And to be honest, the content I see on a lot of these sites is not very good. It either looks like it was spun or written by someone who does not have a good grasp of English. I can write a better guest post in my sleep… But where can I find a service that will allow me to do so -- and hopefully save some money in the process?

Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!

I think most of the sellers would allow you to write your own content if you talk to them. Not sure about anybody specific and I don't think anybody does as it is kind of weird request. But you can probably PM a couple of sellers and ask them directly.

Interesting -- why is it a weird request? I suppose some people don’t like writing, but one of my sites is heavily-content based, even the money/affiliate articles, and the other has both articles and content-rich sales pages. As far as I’ve learned, that’s important for ranking well in search, and what I would naturally do anyway.

How much of these services’ cost do you think comes from paying writers? How much less could I expect to pay from creating my own content? To be clear, saving money isn’t the only reason I want to do this. I would like the articles linking to my site to be of reasonable quality and not obvious junk/traffic referral. But since I need a lot of backlinks, reducing the cost would be a plus.

We do our own outreach and link fulfilment.

I would never use a link selling company, I'd rather have control of the content in my article, know it's not plagiarised, know the anchor isn't over-optimized and see better results.

We put all of our guest posts through surfer as our aim is to also try and rank our guest posting content (which could result in natural tier2 links down the line).

It's a weird request because people who are buying guest post service just want to pay and get the links.
Otherwise, they could just automate the process themself and save a ton of money.

I guess they don't pay to much for their writers as big sellers usually have a team of writers who get paid on a monthly salary, so they get articles much cheaper. I did a similar thing myself, and instead of paying 200$ for a decent guest post, I pay way less. The last guest post I did like a week ago, was on a website with DA 53. Using some of the more popular services around here, this would cost me around 500$+, and this way it costed me exactly 23.68$.

I think you can find money sellers or blogger who accepts your content guest post.
If you are considering only the quality, the seller's side will accept to publish your content.
IMO, the problem is they won't minimize or minimize a very low price even if you provide.
The money which you saved by providing your content will not worth the time if you are a good writer.

Some sellers allow you to submit content, PM them and see what they say.
