Guest Post Opportunity High DA Low Traffic. Worth it?

Just like the title states, I was approached by a blog owner to let me post an article on a blog with DA 30+ but the monthly traffic is less than 100 per SEMrush. Of course, I have to pay a small fee. Is there a real value from such a post?

It is not about the money but I always come across such blogs that are well established but maybe got a penalty and lost most of their traffic. Is posting on such blogs will give me SEO benefits if the DA is relatively high?

What sort of links do they have? What sort of content do they post? I’d be looking at those things.

If it’s a genuine site with niche specific content then it’s ok, but if it’s just a made for selling guest posts type site I wouldn’t bother.

Let us know if the site was content rich. How many words of content were there?

What sort of link are they offering?

What's their price?

Does it look like it's just guest posts on that site? If so, I'd probably avoid it

Actually, the blog is decent and was written by a person who is getting very busy to blog regularly. I sent them an email a while back asking for a blogging opportunity and they responded 3 months later! So in a way they did not reach out to me, I did. Finding a decent blog that allows guest blogging these days is VERY hard.

niche relevant? what about content quality? what about price?
metrics like CF TF RF? its all good you can get backlink from that site

There are plenty of blogs available with the same metrics DA 30+ Semrush traffic 1K - 10k. Do some research definitely, you will get a good blog.

If there is no traffic, the site may show 0 spam in moz bar, with good DA but that's not only the metric you have to look. Check their backlinks. If you found a huge redirection links, avoid the site. It will never be a useful do follow link for you. All you need to do is look for decent traffic sites with Good DA and 0 spam score.
