guest post on a site that doesn't hide costs?

Found a website that I would like a niche edit from so I contacted them.

They got back in touch with a link for all the prices of guest posts and niche edits.

Am I right in thinking not to touch this with a 10ft pole because they are mentioning prices in broad daylight?

i understand top bloggers not putting do-follow links on their homepage, but why not the internal page? thinking that you are assuming that particular page is ranking and if they put do-follow links on it, it will go down in serp?

@bartosimpsonio this one question I feel you are best to answer why do top sites follow google rules for internal pages or niche edits

If the site is worth the money.. I say give it a try.

Lots of sites to choose from. No need to go with that one if you got cold feet. There's literally thousands in every niche.

To keep manual reviewers happy.

It's all about politics.

Google knows they've fucked the web up, since now there is no longer any real organic linking. See thread All links are bought and sold.

Since it's assumed that every external link is sold, Google gave you tags to let them know about this.

Home page links: they usually only stay there for a few hours/days/weeks, then roll down to 2nd page and lower. So if whoever is linking home page DF links, it's probably a contract for short lived DF links, sold for traffic and a bit of temporary boost.

Then Google's human rankers go in and see that internal links are NF and give the site a thumbs up.

Doesn't matter if they put the prices.
I've seen a few big sites publicly listing the prices and no problem.
It's about quality.

There are we all buying links and rankings, so why not buy from someone who is willingly selling it, anyhow Google has not made any rules for buying selling and as such we follow enough rules monopolised by google
 
It's very common that sites have a media kit for advertising options. This includes sponsored posts, link placements, advertorials, reviews, ad placements et al.

We send hundreds of outreach mails per day and we LOVE if they respond right away with prices that are set in stone. No hassles, no stressful negotiations, just straight B2B.

It's just the name of the game. No need to worry about it.

Insteasd do your due dilligence on the domain level (RDs, traffic, keywords they rank fro, topical relevance, linked domains etc.)
 
Check Ahrefs for how many outbound links it as compared to how many powerful backlinks it has coming it.
 
Not all sites like this are spammed out, but for how long?

This is one of the reasons I actually prefer free guest posts, because in my experience, they typically have more editorial oversight.
Whereas websites that openly charge for guest posts will often post just about anything as long as you pay them.

I found a really nice niche website the other week like this that I would of actually paid their low price for ($18) except that it had paid links to multiple casino sites on it.
So, I didn't buy it. That's how it goes.
