Hi

I've just purchased a guest post and I was allowed two links, I added one to my homepage (brand) and another to a post (keyword) and submitted but then I thought would it be better and look more natural to have one of the links to an industry authority. What are your thoughts?

Thanks

Leave it as it is, why would you pay to post a link that isn’t yours

Seems pointless so don't do it no value to you doing it overall.

Unless you have a very spammy backlink profile you are trying to make look natural I wouldn't bother.

One off, I would not worry about it. In general, if you want your inbound links to appear to come from natural places, having some of these in the way you later thought (one outbound to a different place) is likely to build a more "natural-looking" portfolio.

For a single link, that wouldn't really make a difference,
Other than that, ideally, you should link once to your website, you can always add a link to an authority website for some diversity,
Just make sure to not link to any competitor or any website that would possibly compete with yours even in the future

If it is a single link, leave it as it is. No need to worry about it.

Just redirect the user to your website. Are you paying to redirect the user to someone else's website?

Just one link won't help you. Not to go with for further works.

Depends. Naturality is not just about linking to one other site. It’s about content and also about finding natural angles to link.

Adding to the authority site is a good idea. Also make sure you use generic anchor for main site
