Having tried outreaching, most blogs are asking for some monetary compensation. They are offering to place links on existing posts or I could write my own post, the price slightly higher for the new post.

In terms of link juice, is placing links on old posts going to be less powerful, than writing a new post altogether.

The older posts will be aged so i guess that is a good thing, plus you do not have to worry about content. These links are generally sold as 'niche edits' or 'curated links'.

Btw, how much money are they asking for generally on average? You can always negotiate more with inserting links into an old article since there is minimum effort required on the blogger's end.

If you go this route then make sure to have your link look natural and try to get a prime position i.e. link inserted within the first 100 words.

@DeadJoe thanks for the answer.

The prices for links on old content are around $100 per link (DA in the 30s). Sounds reasonable?

Well you can get link from existing article but your niche would be relevant to that then only its effective to get more authority from that backlink.

And if you get a new post you have the option to interlink to the existing article you want from the blog and you add other anchors in the new article.

It doesn't mean you can't get the authority, imo.

That is kind of expensive but really depends on the site. I saw a thread by @SEOSPERM with a lot of good reviews and cheaper prices for DA 30s

DA can be manipulated but still it is preferable by almost all of us. Yes even shitty site like this charging me $70 for a guest post.

And i personally don't think it is worth it.

Hi,

It is good to go but before you go to that, you must consider the article quality, traffic to that particular page, page authority. If you write the new article you can write as per your wish.

If they are "Selling" links on their own blogs, i would be very suspicious of them and understand your backlink will be devalued very soon. I don't think it's worth paying them, honestly.

Most of the sites that you will reach out (+80% of what respond) will quote a price for guest posting. The prices have gone insane now, since the mommy bloggers saw the demand on their websites.

To get new links are more worthy instead of placing links on old post.

It is not a matter of old or new posts, it is a matter of how many backlinks the url where your backlinks are has, the more backlinks the better.

you win by getting links in old posts that have backlinks pointing to them. Then you not only get a cheaper link, but a more powerful link than you would have got with the guest post. Always negotiate a lower rate by half. Sometimes they take it or meet you in the middle. You really win when you convince them to put a link on their homepage. I do this all the time.

Link from existing post with Real verifable organic traffic is by far a better choice then any other links! We have seen with our personal & client sites employing this techniques has Far better success in the serp then employing PBN. Also, this links will stand any Google shit storm since links are coming from legit sites not some shitty low quality sites! But you need to combine this with other links such a basic types of links & guest post as well for the maximum benefits.

I think, the best you can do - guest posting. But you should write new content.

Yes, i also want to say that to get links from different sites are more worthy.
