I find it supper useful, exchanged a couple of backlinks with some guys from that sub. However, I don't believe two websites linking back to one another will be super useful. I'm testing this thesis on one of my garbage websites.

Absolutely, but it's harder getting 3 people from the same niche to agree upon this than two, also there's no guarantee that someone from the squad won't bail, that's my main concern. Just saying what I've seen on that sub.

The subreddit is maybe a couple months old, if so.

I was only able find paid services that list people who propose guest posting on their websites. But 1/ the sites are public so google certainly that these websites propose paid guest posts, and 2/ It doesn't propose guest post 'exchanges.'
