For the guest post, inner page is best, because you want to give more relevancy and authority to that page.

Other links can be send to home page for the balance link profile.

If your guest posts are niche relevant then you will go with inner pages and use LSI keywords to increase your ranking.

For homepage of the site you can use brand anchors and for inner pages go with main and long tail keywords.
