Guest Blogging a method to build huge list?

Hey people,

I have a plan- to build an online business where I can live from- also treat it like a business company.
Also make money through an email list - build list first in the UK Market/ US Market.

My question to you the experienced marketers/money makers:

One method is guest blogging- is this a proof way to build huge list (80-100.000 subscribers)?
What do you mean?
Are there better , faster methods?

Guest blogging, seo, social media, ppc. Any method to get traffic can be used to grow a list really. Why'd you believe guest blogging is the best way? Not disagreeing, just curious

I start with a small budget around $1000 (will spend it through 5-7 months- not all in one month)
So I will concentrate on the best working method to build a huge list- not making many things in same time.
Not social media like to chat with others or such things....

Some say guest blogging will only bring 100 new subs with one guest blogging post, some marketers say they get 500- 700 new subs with every new guest blogging post- so that is a huge difference.
But nobody knows how much guest blogging article I must write to get 500 subs with every new post.......

Or like the other threads here like: 10 Ways to get 1000 visitors/day, I not will do that.
I will concentrate on one best working method with my budget.

Posting one written long good epic content to guest blogs or online magazine's- especial online magazine's must bring more traffic than an blog where I submit my post (my theory).
