windows 95 (i feel like a tool for even knowing that one but not too many choices then).
IRC i guess would be the first actual tool.
Also had bitcoin when it was only able to be stored on a special usb thumb drive that you had to specially purchase... that was a learning curve tool in its own buying and spending it. I lost that drive with about $30 on it at the time... that would be worth a fortune in todays markets

Remember how many floppy disks the win95 install needed hahawindows 95 (i feel like a tool for even knowing that one but not too many choices then).

hahaah i still have some of those floppies stashed somewhere... no idea what is on all of them. And i even have a couple of floppies from the early 80s apple 2 computer, i believe they were like the 5 1/4 or something like that.
i dont remember Pine email but hadnt heard of WebCrawler or Altavista in years... altavista was my go to.
