Im considering investing a few hundred bucks on some guaranteed first page SEO,
however from reading a few threads I'm getting a vibe that this is a bad idea?

Whats your opinion on it? Worth it?
($100 - $150 / kw)

Thanks for the help

There are NO guarantees to the first page. Period.

Too many variables come into play.

people who can 100% guarantee first page, won't usually sell it as a service, unless it's in the x,xxx$ and up range

By guaranteed I mean that if they don't get it I will be getting my money back
or get another campaign for free

I agree with this in part, but that's why Google has Adwords. If you want guaranteed first page spots, you need to pay Google.

We understand that... you won't be getting that for 200 dollars unless that person has already investigated your niche and site and it's low competition.

First page does not necessarily equal $$, so be clear as to what your goals are. Also, Google dances, so your first page link can be pushed down to second page or further, once you've paid for (and achieved) first page. It's not that difficult to get to first page on your own, honestly. It's more difficult to make it a consistent source of income. All the info you need to do it yourself is on BHW. I've done it for my own sites, several times, at no cost except my time.

could a keyword with 100k searches a month be considered low competition?

Dude stop wasting your time if those seo services could get every site ranked to google page 1
why would they sell that as a service for such a small amount of money??
Instead of ranking sites from strangers for 100 bucks they could rank their own site and make 1000s of dollars.
Invest your money in a backlinking software if you want to do SEO.
I recommend you to buy gsa search engine ranker. That software is truly awesome.

Companies like this offer ranking or your money back

Suppose it depends on what you are ranking for. If you can turn profit on your investment then why not.

Front page is still nowhere by the way, you need to be in the top 4 places to get conversions.

As a noob, If I work on tiered link building with GSA for tier 2 & 3, and do my tier 1 manually;
how competitive of keywords can I rank for? 10k searches a month? and how long would that usually take,
I know those are extremely vague questions but could u take a guess? bc I'm trying to decide between that and paid services

Would be great to find an exact formula wouldn't it?
The guidelines are here as you have already discoverd, but you'll have to do some investing of your own in order to find the best way of working.

awesome site, thanks for the link!

Every SEO provider should offer ranking or your money back. Normally, the contracts my clients have signed, have had that stipulation. Nobody can guarantee the 1st spot on the first page. However, I do believe (and this comes from experience) the first PAGE results can be guaranteed with the right campaign.

Yes it more than worth if you go for 150 usd per keyword
cheers

If they do offer a guarantee... Why not? You sure are right to be skeptical but you don't have much to lose

Go for it I say, you will learn a good lesson in IM. Never believe the shit you read on the internet, especially the Warrior Forum.

If it's better than where you were and you will get your investment back, it will be worth it.

Anyone who can GUARANTEE page one ranking needs to be able to refund you in the event that they don't pull through. When I hear GUARANTEE, I hear "or your money back".

Clearly it's a money back guarantee. What will he learn that he needs to learn? That he'll either get a page 1 ranking or his money back?
