For Scams, you will have to do your due diligence as always.
BHW attempts to make this as safe as possible in Marketplace V1.
There are most likely legal issues in place for BHW itself to act as a middle man, hence they are not doing that.
It may potentially be a service offered in Marketplace V2 that will come later on.

However, you can still use best practices to find sinds of scammers such as

Each product goes through an extensive review and audit by BHW's team prior to going live.
The product would be in "Working order" during that review.
If the product goes dead or quality drops, that is when you exercise the "Report Button" and report it.

Make sure you read the marketing thread about what is being delivered. Everyone is pretty straight forward and been vetted by the mods. Now I'm sure bad shit happens but most make good on their offers, or refund.
