Hey guys, I want to ask a question. How does new tlds effect the SEO?

Your best bet is to stick with the tried and true big 3. The new TLDs are being spammed to death and Google knows it.

I think you can be successful with any tld, but I imagine Google favors the big 3. Lots of good sites are on .io but I wouldn't pick it for an SEO advantage. If you're picking it for branding purposes, then do it. Regarding SEO, at best it won't provide any additional benefit.
