Hello guys,

When it comes to using GSE SER I believe the processes takes up lot of CPU power which kinda makes the computer useless. So I was wondering if its not better to just invest in a new computer over VPS which you can 24/7 if needed since my connection is 100/100 mbit (with 98,5% effeciency).

The CPU usage depends on the engines you post to. I use mainly contextual engines and my CPU usage is around 3-5%. The crappy engines like guestbooks, image comments, exploits, etc. are a real CPU hog. For me having a local machine is better because I feel I have more control over everything. Given that your internet connection is fast enough, a local PC wouldn't be a bad way to go.

Its better to Invest with VPS(No Electricity, Internet Bill) .. You can get VPS for cheap rate in marketplace..

VPS is the way to go. And for more reasons than just resource usage. Save up and go VPS.

I hate using VPS, I built a nice pc for 1.5k and run GSA all day no problems.

Using a VPS is cheaper but I hate em.

grab a cheap dedi or VPS, it well worth it.

There are a few problem that you might have when running GSA SER with your PC.

1. You might have problem with your internet provider due to high bandwidth spend.
2. Slow down the internet of your whole network.

Most mainstream PC/laptop can run GSA SER without any problem i believe, the problem is your internet. So yea just grab a cheap dedi or VPS, should be suffice. :)

I have very strong internet 100/100 with no cap...

I run it on an old spare desktop I had and works fine..but yes have a great net connection, so perhaps that also helps

Hi,

Its not a good idea to run it on your computer.
If you want to run it with all its power, and get tons of backlinks, you will need some VPS.

This is what my system is doing. 100 threads GSA SER, 100 threads GSA SEO Indexer, 200 threads ScrapeBox.

What is the recommended Memory and CPU for GSA SER???

I have tried several different solutions. If you are running a few projects, then you can try own PC but I suggest a VPS. If you are a power user and running it on several hundred threads then dedicated server. You can find a decent one for below $100 per month if you google it. I was running tens of projects at 600-800 threads and VPS couldn't handle it anymore, CPU was at max.

For VPS I'd do something like 4 CPUs, 4GB RAM, SSD... and for dedi 2.5-3+GhZ processor with 8 cores / 8 threads, 16GB RAM, SSD.
