GSC Redirect issue, But No Redirects

I am having issue for my website on GSC. It says that 55 pages have redirect issues. In reality there are no redirects setup. When I open the pages the actual blogposts are displayed it is not redirected to anywhere.

When I analyse the issue any of the URL on GSC it shows redirect to random websites. Even non registered domains. What is going on? I am facing this issue for months now.

It is an ezoic website got hit by helpful content update and the spam update. Has not recovered ever since.

If you do not update the site often, then check for malware, and remove old plugins / revert the site to before.

Often times it can be exploits someone did through a vulnerability in a plugin and they start stealing traffic and redirecting people

to offers etc. Try to visit your site with proxy or completely logged out on incognito a few times and you might see it.

Often times, not everything causes a redirect or it only steals a portion of the visits in hopes the webmaster is slow to notice.


This might not be the case but when something like this had happend to me years back, it was because of an old plugin got broken into and

all websites that used the plugin got the issue.
