Hi there,

I published a new post on my site a few days ago and noticed it didn't get indexed, while most of the posts were indexed in approx. 24 hours.
Tried to index it manually via GSC and noticed that there's a new (?) HTTPS section.

So it's showing up an error that is about invalid HTTPS while my site is 100% SSL. Then there's another new section telling you about HTTPS errors on your site.

To sum up, Google does not want to index a post claiming it does not have HTTPS, and in the next column, it states that all 346 pages on the site have HTTPS, and there are no problems.

Google being Google, as always.

Exact same issue I am also facing. Were you able to fix it?

From your picture alone, the page is indexed.
But nevertheless, how did you sign the HTTPS cert?
Was it auto-generated by your hosting provider or self-created?
There could be multiple generated which could cause this issue.
I would reach out to the hosting provider and ask them, to check it out for you.
Also check, if your http is redirecting to your https or vice versa.

I guess it's Google's fault. Let's just wait till they fix it.

My SSL is fine. It passes all tests. It is issued by Sucuri.
It is not a problem with SSL itself. Older posts are indexed fine with no HTTPS issues (some of them crawled today). And yes, the page is indexed, but only after I submitted it manually.

It is another indexing issue on Google's side.

I believe it's a temporary issue, it's mostly newer pages that are affected with the issue for me.

Thanks for posting this, I logged in to check on a page and saw this error too. Then checked ssl thinking I let it slip, but it's valid and has been validated so just like others said its just a google fuck up

i found this: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/11396518#fix_https_not_evaluated

Just an update, some of the messages have just disappeared, so I think they're fixing it right now?

I have the exact same issue for my 2 newly-published posts (they show as indexed, though).

May be when the crawler bot came, your page served it an invalid response? Could be a blocking rule or something, that is resolving to an error page which is not signed correctly. In any case, I would start with looking at the server logs first.

the chances that this is happening, only to newer posts by this number of people point to it being an issue with either google messed up, or how ssl's work. But they were working before this message showed up, so i doubt that these pages would just happen to be having the exact same issue at the exact time the bot shows up.

also, if there was an error page showing it wouldn't have this message it would have an error code? I could be wrong but it just doesn't add up when I look at this thread.

Same problem here with some URLS of these last days. Any solution? My SSL certificate is working fine and expires in April 2023.

and you don’t think a common incident could have happened, e.g. like a cloudflare error page?

Not saying it is the case, but like I said, investigate the error logs first. If there is nothing to be done on your part, you don’t have to do anything, anyway..

I'm facing the same issue. Seems like this is a major issue affecting a lot of publishers, and here I thought I was delusional.

i thought i am the only one facing this issue. Even CyberPunk is less buggy than Multibillion Google Nowdays...
My SSL is issued by Cloudflare, and only happening with newer posts. i also tried LetsEncrypt SSL (another site), same issue ..So its not a SSL issue, thats for sure..
