GSC domain property or URL prefix

Stupid question probably..

When you add a website to Google Search Console you are presented with 2 options: domain property or url prefix.

I ended up with both for a couple of my sites.

I want to delete one. What should I keep? What is better to start off with to begin with?

if you want to track the progress of your entire site (including the www and non-www versions) choose domain property! Otherwise choose URL if you only want to check the performance of specific URLs

But, in 99% of the cases, domain property is what you'd choose
