What do you think, can it do good if properly optimized? If yes, what would be the settings you'd use?
GSA SER: Tier 1 for low/medium competition?

usually i use gsa for tier 2-3 ,but sometime i use it for tier 1 also.for tier 1 i use social bookmarks ,articles,and social network,i buy some unique articles then i spin them,i do not post on sites under pr 3.for wiki i set min pr 5 and i posted on lots of pr8 sites ,even some of pr 9

Depends on how old the site is. If it is a BRAND NEW site I would just use scrapebox first and manually enter in links. If it is an older site and you wanted to link directly to your money site fire up some proxies and go with higher PR sites and a Captcha service like captcha breaker.
SER can do a lot of damage if not used properly. It is more quantity over quality even with the correct settings. Better off doing a tier pyramid and blast your Tier 2+ links that way YOU control your backlinks. If a site gets burned for whatever reason just disconnect that site from your money site.
Takes more patience and some ninja work to set up properly but can be pulled off.
GSA:SER is not normally "push a button and forget it" software unless A) you are being a prick to someone or B) you are churning and burning a site. Even then not sure on how successful it will be pointing directly to money site.

Thought about buying Lincorne AIO for tier 1 and use GSA for 2.
