GSA SER,Should I use it?

Well,
being new to SEO I just came to know about the GSA SER tool.


I mean should I use it to create backlinks?

I recently took a course on Udemy and the guy said that you should avoid making backlinks with tools and manually do it.

Also,Its not good in the long run due to the update done by the google.All comes down to the link juice?

Yes, you SHOULD do things manually, until you figure out how SEO works. Find a technique that works. THEN automate it. Once you know what works, for you, you will know what tools to buy. I spent two years learning how not to do SEO (by failing with some success here and there) before I learned what works, for me.

Also, you have been registered here as long as I am, so you should know better.

Tools do only what you tell them to do. So if you do not know what you are doing, tools won't make it nor easier nor effective.

Automated tools nowadays are not what they used to be and are mostly unusable, unless you have a very unique technique or pure luck.

You can't use automated tools right out the box, with much success. Everything must be customized. Using the default content like comments, link placements, all that stuff I could go very in depth about MUST be customized on a regular basis. This is where you have to use your noggin. The default content and default settings in general are a footprint in themselves. Tools are great, if you have something you want to automate, but they can produce a ton of footprints, esp on mass scale. Most people using SER use it just the way it comes.

When it comes to SER, and most software like it programmed for the masses, the contextual links its makes out of the box usually don't stick very long. They are created mostly on websites that were set up with incorrect permissions by some poor shmuck that didn't know what he was doing. When that guy finds out he's getting spammed, the pages created usually are deleted right away. I wouldn't link directly to anything I intend to actually rank with links like those, it is a waste of time. You are better served manually creating links that will stick around for at least a year and using SER to pump those up on t2/t3, with a link campaign that never really ends, since you have to replace them so often. Hope that helps.

To be honest, if you were thinking of purchasing gsa and run it straight out of the box, you may be disappointed - it doesn't work that way any longer, and you will need to further customize it with various additional tools to be able to have good and targeted results from the campaign.
For instance, you will need an appropriate spinner, article harvester, captcha solving tool, link list, link indexer, link metric scanner, etc, before something useful or beneficial can come out from the tool. These extra components are required nonetheless, and when used correctly and in an optimized manner, some benefits can definitely come out of that.
And when you master using these components altogether, then you can start planning and strategizing on what to build and where to build and specifically what to target, and you will achieve better results in that manner. And when built in such a way, it would also be safer for your site, as the link profile is more natural and the chances of getting a penalty is reduced considerably.

I used it and find its working for me. But yes I made custom site list and make backlinks ( driff feeding). So yes its working for me. I only use gsa ser.
