Hey was wondering if it's a must that i use a VPS for GSA SER? Or can i just run it from my home pc? What are the benefits of running it on vps?
I plan to host multiple (around 10-20) wp sites, is 1gb fine?

thanks,
The IM newb

I say you go for vps, you can run gsa there 24/7.. if your going to do back links on 10-20 sites then you need mid to high specs of vps maybe 4threads with 8gb ram.

And don't forget the bandwidth, if you have a internet package with 100gb transfer it will burn out quickly

1GB is pretty low if you're running Captcha Breaker with it. But yes definitely doable on a home PC. The benefits of vps are that you can leave it running 24/7 and use your PC for other things as well as unlimited bandwidth(if you have a cap from your provider). But you can use your PC when starting out and backing up/restoring everything to a vps when you're ready to move is simple.

I see you guys talking about leaving GSA on 24/7 and was wondering if that is a good thing. How many backlinks/ day are safe to create without getting your website penalized?

you can run it on your home pc but you will be restricted by lots of things - bandwidth limits, internet speed, power of your PC, not to mention electricity consumption and your PC being taken up all the time.

You can get a VPS for so cheap, its definitely the wise option.

regarding amount of links you build, if you are using GSA at all to your money site, its not safe, you need to come to terms with the fact that it might get blacklisted by google and you have to drop it.

if your site is precious then you need to build some tiers and blast them with GSA.
