GSA SER Proxy

Hello,

How many proxies do you use for GSA SER? Do you use IPV4 or IPV6? How many proxies on average for 100.000 connections would solve my job.

The ratio most people use is 1 proxy to 10 threads. IPv4 are fine, you don't really need anything fancy to submit. Save the IPv6s for scraping targets.
Youre in for a surprise if you reckon you can get up to 100,000 threads on SER though, you'll run out of memory way before you can get anywhere near there!

For 100.000 backlinks then I will need 10.000 proxy ip. Is that right?

no no no, you are completely barking up the wrong tree. A thread is 1 process that the software is working on. There is no associated calculation or relationship between the amount of proxies and the amount of links being produced. In general data center proxies ( private or shared ) 1 thread 10 proxies.

If you have 10 private proxies you can run 100 threads .

1 proxy will be ok with 10 - 8 threads. Since these are basics of seo program like @cherub said start from begin and guides.

Do IPv6 works with scraping ? SB ? i never used ipV6 with anything except xevil for captchas

IPv6 proxies do work for scraping (as long as the website is IPv6 compatible - check here: https://dnschecker.org/ipv6-compatibility-checker.php), but AFAIK neither SB or GSA support them. They'll also be subject to the same level of banning as IPv4, so the same sort of 'safe' scraping practices will apply unless you want your whole ranges banned.

Thanks. Actually i am fedup with scraping google now. instead using few premium link lists with good hassle-free. Just wanted to know.
