I am a backlinking noob.
I was actually thinking of getting RankerX to do Tier1 but when i came across some posts saying GSASER can be used for Tier1 too if you buy the Web2.0 addon, I decided to explore GSA first.

I have a lot of questions:

Why choose GSA over RankerX for Tier1:

- Rankerx lifetime is $850 all in .. while for GSA, recommended to need to buy linklists + Web2.0 for $600 per year .. Rankerx seems like a better deal .. why would people still go for GSA?
- Would you recommend use GSA for Tier1,2,3 or use Rankerx for Tier1 & GST for Tier2,3?

GSA specific questions regarding set up requirements, specified by gsaserlists.com :

- which VPS type is recommended - Cloud, Linux, Macos or Windows?

- How much ram is recommended - I'm confused .. is it max 3gb?Screenshot_1.jpg

- Each campaign set at 20 threads .. so if 20 campaigns are runnng same time, there will be 400 threads. How is this related to the recommended global setting of 100 threads?

- It is recommended to get dedicated proxies. How many proxies are there in 1 subnet?
- Also, the settings of 500 threads seems to contradict the maximum limit of 20 threads (as mentioned above)
- How long can the proxies be used for?

- Where to buy catchall emails?
- How many emails to be used for 1 campaigns?
- How long can the catchall emails be used for?

Thank you.

I can answer this one
Where to buy catchall emails? Buy your own domains, and setup your own catchall

Proxies: 1 Proxy for 10 threads
Catchall: as written above - get a domain make your own - the name database is so huge, just use them till the end of all times
RAM: I run on 8GB RAM, but 4 should be enough. - never had a RAM problem - more a processor power problem
Since the last updates GSA Proxy Scraper scrapes pretty good google usable proxies
If you purchase a list - you can use those proxies
Windows VPS
If you are careful or are provided with a good setup GSA is your tool for success
You can combine T1 - RankerX T2-T4 GSA SER

GSA SER is available for a one-time fee, and there's no need to purchase a web2.0s addon for it. Currently, there are two web2.0s addons: one is SerEngines, and the other is SERLib. SerEngines no longer updates, and SERLib links are very hard to get indexed. This issue also occurs with RankerX. I am about to give RankerX another try. If you are new to this field, go for GSA SER because it supports a wide range of platforms and, after all, it's available for a one-time fee. Regardless of the software you use, you will need proxies, a server, captchas, emails, and content. With RankerX, you will have to pay monthly or a large one-time fee. This is why many prefer GSA SER; it's incredibly versatile and eliminates the need for tools like ScrapeBox by nearly replacing all SEO tools in the market.

So far, I have only used GSA for all my tiers with high-quality content generated using GPT-4 and Word AI through an SEO content machine. You can easily build tier 1 links yourself with a good list. SERLinks and ServerifiedLists are both great for tier 1, and for lower tiers, you can try SERPowerLists as they are affordable and offer a vast range of unique domains compared to others.

You don't need a lot of subnets, but if you want, you can opt for proxies like those from NYProx or RainyProx; the list goes on. I would suggest following your list's recommended proxy provider to achieve the best results.

As a first tool, always opt for something affordable and available for a one-time fee.
