I recently set up a hosted VPS on Hostwinds, with the idea of building links with GSA SER. Bought SER, Proxy Scraper & Captcha Breaker. Thought I was set 
As I started getting into it, I realized that I needed more software... bought Auto Submitter, K/W Research, Content Generator & PR Emulator.
I've run into the same issue as others on this thread. I am overwhelmed by all the options. Not sure how to get going. Just too much to learn, and I don't really have the time.
So, I am considering entering into some kind of agreement with someone. I could potentially make my server & software available for them to use, in exchange for link building and ?
