Hello everyone, I purchased a site list from Serverifiedlists.com to run GSA SER. I also bought a Zoho email server to set up a catchall email, disabled the spam filter, and used brand-new emails that are not blacklisted, so I consistently receive registration emails.

However, the issue is that GSA SER seems unable to verify any of the emails received, causing me to miss out on many high-quality links. To clarify, GSA SER can still log into the email account and recognize the number of emails, but it is unable to click on those emails to verify.

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue? I'm unsure if it's a problem with GSA SER not clicking the confirmation URL in the emails.

is this happening with any specific engines? wordpress article maybe?

This happens with all engines with email verification. Right now, I can only submit to engine with instant verification. All the engines with email verification cannot get verification

why do you think SER is not clicking on the links?

turn on the debug window for a while, you should probably see links getting extracted and clicked on

I cannot find the option to turn on the debug window. Could you please show me how?

options > advanced > run in debug mode. i would run lower threads when having debug mode running, and use the 'remove debug html files' option afterwards

Looks like GSA SER isn’t clicking the links in the emails. Try checking the email handling settings or testing with a different email service.

I use my own email zoho server so I think it should be fine, not the problem of the email server

Well, Zoho has its limits and is not the best hosting provider when making catchalls. Try to get Offshore hosting, and it's even cheaper.

Anyway, I don't specifically see such an issue. I am also using ser verified lists and a few other services like ser power lists, including cherub's custom engines, and everything works on my end. BTW, I didn't update to the latest as I couldn't log in to the servers for the last 2 weeks. But I checked my backlinks profile in Webmasters, and I don't see any lost backlinks, as I am constantly building.

Lol, zoho blocked my account because I bombarded their email server. Switched to another providers and hope that my account will not get blocked

Zoho isn’t offshore. You gotta go for offshore hosting and try hosting a few emails. I just grabbed 4 emails during Black Friday, and they’re super cheap—plus, it’s for the whole year.

Anyway, the latest GSA SER update has some bugs. I’m running 2 servers with the same link list provider as you (SER verified lists and serlinks , also cherub custom engines), and I’m hitting my normal LPM of 30-35 on v17.98. But on v18, verification is super low because GSA isn’t cranking the threads properly—it’s stuck at 10-12 threads all the time.

Honestly, I didn’t even want to update GSA; v17 works great. Hopefully, Sven will fix this soon. It’s happening my own verified list and with any engines.

Check that GSA SER can access the POP3 server for checking emails. Sometimes, firewall or security settings might block access

actually right now, with the recent update, gsa has an issue with threads as well. So I suspect there are some problems now with verification as well. temporally, I rolled back to v17.98, and everything is working fine now.

I’m using serlinks.com as my provider, and they suggested updating to version 18.05—the latest version of GSA SER—which they said fixes the list error. They also recommended deleting all projects and starting fresh. Guess what? It worked!

I’m now back to hitting my regular LPM and VPM.

Just make sure to delete everything and start fresh. I’m not sure why it happened, but everything is working fine now.

yes, the same to me. Still keep the install file of 17.98 so it's ok to me

are you bot to promote their service?

Hi, no, I’m a human . What made you think otherwise? I’m from Russia, and I use the https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.clevertype.ai.keyboard&hl=en-USto improve my English. I hope it’s improving the readability.

I don’t think today’s bots can provide such a specific answer.

No, I don’t promote them, but they were the ones who suggested importing the list instead of locating the path to feed into GSA.

I have a bunch of list providers right now.

Anyway, the issue is fixed with the latest 19.06, and on my end, everything works fine.
