GSA SER and Avast

    I've been using the trial and my avast has been going off like crazy "threat threat threat has been detected been detected" remix style. Is this something to be worried about? Do i have some settings that i have missed out on adjusting?

    The software definitely isn't a virus if you got it from a legit source.

    Also SER doesn't user a browser, the URL's are just downloaded, but aren't executed. :)

    Agreed with s4nt0s. If your SER is legitimate then there should be 'threat'

    create an exception for gsa, if you haven't already, because you haven't made it quite clear if it pop up these virus alerts when submitting or when you open the program

    av software are very aggressive.. just whitelist or trust it.. simple.
